Individual Counseling

An individual counseling session includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Engage in a collaborative process that aims to facilitate change and improve your quality of life

  • Use a foundation of holistic wellness includes social, emotional, occupational, physical, spiritual, environmental, and intellectual wellness

  • Emphasize and support self-awareness; examine which aspects of life feel incomplete and learn new skills moving forward

  • Implement newfound strategies for growth and self-actualization

Family Counseling and Parent Coaching

Working with the family-system can be paramount for support and growth:

  • Understanding that as social beings we seek fulfilling and healthy relationships in order to be happy

  • Believing in using a systems approach that supports families and interpersonal dynamics; we can nurture change and development stronger relationships

  • Supporting parents; when children experience emotional or behavioral difficulties, parents can feel stressed, overwhelmed, and concerned

  • Use psycho-education, coaching, positive behavior management, and modeling, parents can learn new ways to help their child and also feel supported

Behavioral Consultation

A behavioral consultation to support every family’s unique needs:

  • Collaborate to support responses within the classroom; children who are deemed "different" may feel like they're treading to stay above water, or worse, like they're drowning

  • Support and work with teachers who may feel unprepared to meet a child’s individual learning needs

  • Observe: Through a classroom observation, we can find ways to improve your child's learning experience

Sensory Social Skills Groups

Sensory social skills provide the following:

  • Specialized social skills programs designed to support individuals through multi sensory-rich activities

  • Combine social skills training with sensory integration; engage kids in activities that support multiple senses such as textured play, movement, and integrative games

  • Aim to enhance social interactions and communication abilities while supporting sensory function and integration

  • Use a multidisciplinary approach to focus on building social confidence and awareness in a supportive setting that considers each child's unique sensory profile

Parent Support Groups

  • We offer parenting support groups to help you find connection, community, and support

  • Collectively, the aim is to gather and connect with other parents who share your similar experience
