Shannon Sobieraj, MS, OTR/L - Co-Founder / Director

Shannon is from Boulder, Colorado, where she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Psychology. Following her move to Northern California in 2001, she pursued and attained a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dominican University of California, graduating summa cum laude. Shannon completed her pediatric training at California Pacific Medical Center's Kalmanovitz Child Development Center and MarinHealth / UCSF - Behavioral Health Clinic. She has since worked in various pediatric settings, including hospitals, schools, and private practices across San Francisco and Marin County.

Shannon yields extensive experience working with children aged 0-16 years, She specializes in evaluating and treating diagnoses such as global developmental delay, spectrum disorders, genetic disorders, gross and fine motor delays, attention deficit disorder, anxiety disorder, and sensory processing disorder. She is committed to a collaborative, holistic, and family-centered approach to therapy ensuring effective evaluations and intervention for her clients.

Shannon’s advanced training encompasses Sensory Processing and Integration, Neuro-Motor Reflex Integration, Handwriting Without Tears, Bal-A-Vis-X, Visual Perceptual Processing Skills, Therapeutic Listening, and Interactive Metronome. Additionally, she integrates social - emotional wellness, social thinking, and mindfulness protocols into her treatments utilizing Super Flex, Zones of Regulation, The Alert Program, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Shannon resides in Marin County with her husband and two sons. They enjoy mountain biking, surfing, hiking, and quality time with family and friends.

Theresa Parks, MS, OTR/L - Co-Founder / Director

Theresa is a Bay Area native, from Northern California. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation. She continued her education, earning a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt University. Theresa completed her pediatric training at the California Pacific Medical Center’s Kalmanowitz Child Development Center and has worked in a variety of pediatric settings in San Francisco. She is licensed by the state of California and is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy.

Theresa has many years of experience working with children aged 0-14 years. She provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to children with developmental delay, attention-deficit/hyperactivity dIsorder, anxiety disorder, sensory processing differences, autism spectrum disorder, and fine/gross motor delay. Theresa’s approach is holistic, family-centered and collaborative in nature in order to provide effective interventions that carryover across the child’s various environments.

Theresa has continued to pursue advanced clinical knowledge and therapeutic skills focused on pediatric development including: Handwriting Without Tears, Sensory Processing and Integration, Autism Research, Visual Perceptual Problem Solving Skills, Executive Function Training, The Alert Program, Zones of Regulation, Yoga for Kids, Super Flex Social Thinking Curriculum, and she weaves mindfulness strategies throughout her intervention approach.

Theresa lives in San Francisco with her husband and two sons. She enjoys playing soccer, eating ice cream, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jennifer Berry Wang, LMFT

Jen has been licensed to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California since 2017. She received her master’s in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California after she completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Southern California. Prior to completing the licensing requirements, Jen worked in private practice internships under the supervision of Dr. Valerie Shrer, PhD at Paths to Wellness and at Mindfulness Center Healing (Dr. Peter Newsom, M.D.), in Menlo Park, CA.  She completed her trainee-ship for Marriage and Family Therapy at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland (2013-2014) where she provided trauma-based counseling services to children and families in clinic and school-based settings. 

Prior to graduate school, Jen worked as a behavioral therapist and behavioral consultant to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder within clinic, home, and school-based settings at Lovaas Institute, Los Angeles, and Steps Therapy, San Francisco, CA.

Jen resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
